On Monday, July 2nd, many of the people involved in ministry in our parish came together for a social evening at Ballyhaunis Golf Club. Initially, the main purpose of the night was to honour the outgoing Parish Pastoral Council and all who gave sterling service during the Covid 19 pandemic, including ushers, sanitisers etc. It was then decided to extend the invitation to all who are involved in ministry in the parish, including members of the Sacramental Preparation Teams: Baptism, First Communion & Confirmation, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, collectors and envelope distributors. Music was provided by “Freebird” ( Noel Finnegan) and catering by Kieran Kiely, and a wonderful evening was had by all. A separate social evening is being organised in the coming weeks for all involved in Music Ministry in the parish.
