Sunday March 3rd marked the start of National Tree Week. At the end of 10am Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis, we had the blessing of Beech & Oak saplings & seeds. A sapling will be planted in each of the Station areas in the parish. Thanks to the people from each of the Station areas who attended the blessing and who have undertaken to plant the saplings during the coming days.
